Being from a medical and research background, I always told everyone that I can never do business, because I don't have the sharp acumen of a businessman, only an analytical mind of a medical professional and researcher. And even until now, I still tell the same thing to everyone. Doing business was never my forte, and it still isn't. That was why I would shy away from any business opportunities, multi-level marketing (MLM) or otherwise.

I never could have imagined that one day, I would become an Amway independent business owner (IBO). No other MLM or business entity has succeeded in winning me over as an active partner or shareholder. Amway is the first, and to date the only one. And that's because Amway, in my opinion, is distinctively different from your typical MLMs and countless other business entities in many ways, not to mention that its products are impressively top notch.
