James Anderson

Grew up in San Diego, CA and moved to Austin Texas about 6 years ago. I have been writing code for over 17 years and I thoroughly enjoy managing teams and writing stellar code to solve problems.

Started in mainframe (IBM AS/400) writing programs in COBOL and PL/I. I quickly adopted developing on Windows and wrote tons of applications and utilities in Visual Basic.

Of all the programming languages - I thoroughly enjoy .NET the best. Although I have updated and written many VB.NET applications - I love C# the most.

As a paying hobby - I also do product photography. From small gemstones to pricey watches and food products and everything in-between.

I have provided consulting and development services as a freelance consultant for more than 5 years - helping businesses increase their bottom line, integrate with other systems to get valuable data reporting, and increasing productivity through re-design and automation.

My career started as a Programmer Analyst and progressed through Configuration Management Architect onto IT Director and Application Development Director.
