Cinematographer at heart, never happier than when behind the lens. We have a small production company Last Planet Ltd., that specialises in film making in remote locations and with remote communities and over the years have picked up an Emmy nomination and a few Panda Awards. My clients include international broadcasters such as the BBC Natural History Unit and National Geographic Channel. I'm a herpetologist by training (that's the study of reptiles and amphibians) and I also remain involved in applied conservation as a scientist with New Zealand Governments Department of Conservation.
