James Rich
James majored in theater arts at The University of the South in Sewanee, TN. He studied acting at The Michael Howard Studios and studied improv and sketch comedy at The Peoples Improv Theater. James has performed with numerous improv groups including PIT House teams SidViscous!, Tomahawk, and currently Local 154. He's performed at The Baltimore, Providence, Philadelphia, Charleston and Chicago Improv Festivals. He sometimes performs serious improv with Interborough Repertory Theater to train law students and teaches improv and acting workshops.
James performs in "The Sitcom" and wrote episode 6 of the sketch ongoing sketch show. He's produced several short films and videos and in 2001 wrote the original play "Kundalini" (produced at The Kraine Theater in the East Village, where he recently acted in Moliere's "The Learned Ladies".) He also warmed up audiences for Blue Man Group as a Tubetalker and worked on their running crew for several years. James originally hails from Nashville, Tennessee.
