James Sawyer is a financial executive in the chemical industry. He currently stands as Director of Compass Natural Gas. Throughout more than four decades in the chemical industry, Sawyer has established himself as an exceptionally capable leader. For 28 years, Sawyer built his career with energy giant, Praxair. From 2000 to 2014, James Sawyer represented the company as Chief Financial Officer. His command over this role resulted in 10 consecutive years of being honored by awards for his work in the Chemical industry. Sawyer has also been recognized for his dedication to safety, sustainability and productivity in the chemical and energy industries.

In his personal time, James Sawyer enjoys traveling the world with his family. Annually, Sawyer and his family return to the Galapagos Islands, where he currently owns property. But even in his leisure, Sawyer is energized about launching projects! After obtaining his property, the world traveler embarked on a new venture: the development of a chocolate farm. Now, on his property, Sawyer manages an effort that oversees planting cocoa trees in order to make Galapagos chocolate. In the future, he hopes to share the experiences of his journey on his personal website.
