JAMES SMITH

James is a results-driven IT Security Specialist with a growing corporate network. He juggles employment while pursuing additional IT education. He specializes in the following: assessments and audits, network and systems security, information systems risk analysis, disaster recovery, and business continuity. In doing so, these practical tools may strengthen the organization’s critical infrastructure, lessen cybercrime, and improve vulnerability management. Special consideration is given to code encryption to securely pass information between systems. Prior to joining this corporate network in 2011, James spent over 4 combined years effectively working in such areas as: project management, business administration, finance, and auditing in diverse sectors. James He has the exceptional ability to lead, inspire and motivate others, resolve conflict, improve morale, and to consistently exceed security goals with shared purpose. He is also equally strong in problem solving, strategic and innovation application. James seeks to attend professional conferences. James is a member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP). He is actively involved in the community through recovery and disaster relief, domestic violence and abuse, child abuse and neglect, homeless, human rights, and education efforts. James holds a graduate degree in Administration. He is currently seeking to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS). However without adequate funding, his education in (CIS )will be delayed or permanently postponed. Additional education will allow him to advance his skills and to make widespread accomplishments to the emerging field of IT. In addition to this, James has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting with a concentration in management. Further, he is seeking professional certifications in the following work areas: Certified Information Systems Professionals (CISSP) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
