James Springfield

Throughout the past two decades, James Springfield has developed acumen in many different financial, consulting, and management capacities. First, James Springfield attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas, to receive a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He later enrolled at the University of Houston-Clear Lake in Houston, Texas, graduating from this school in 1991 with a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Shortly after James Springfield graduated from Baylor University, he initiated his career with his first professional position as a Financial Analyst for the Memorial Healthcare System. There, he provided strategic decision and management support for the executives. James Springfield later enrolled in an Administrative Fellowship at Memorial Healthcare System. He worked for the healthcare provider in other positions before transferring to Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in 1997, where he was named Chief Executive Officer of Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, an academic regional children’s hospital. In this role, James Springfield fulfilled his duties as CEO by planning and promoting a new strategic plan for the hospital, increasing market share by 40 percent, and establishing the Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital as an autonomous institution. His other duties included fulfilling financial management and administrative obligations. James Springfield accepted a series of executive positions in the healthcare industry, all of which prepared him for his current role as President and CEO of JGS Advisory Services, LLC., in Missouri City, Texas. At JGS, James Springfield provides healthcare organizations with advisory, financial, and management services. He joined the workforce of JGS in November 2008. James Springfield’s achievements in this executive role include the strategic guidance of providers like Ardent Health Services, Capital Point Partners, and Integrated Medical Partners.
