James Squicciarini

James Squicciarini is a litigation attorney assigned as a senior assistant county attorney for the County of Suffolk. He has 10+ years’ experience maintaining heavy caseloads for civil actions and proceedings, insurance liability claims and subrogation. Extensive experience providing legal representation for Suffolk County and its various agencies. Draft arbitration, appellate briefs and submissions, and motions. Demonstrated success procuring defendants’ verdicts in favor of client during trials and arbitrations. Proven ability to collaborate with adjusters, managers, county officials and clients to successfully manage litigation in the areas of automobile insurance litigation, general liability, municipal liability, and tort defense.

James Squicciarini serves as the Chairman of the Planning Board for the Village of Amityville.

He also serves the residents of Amityville as a volunteer with the Amityville Fire Department. Since 1993, he has served as a firefighter, emergency medical technician, Fire Captain, Leader of the Water Rescue Squad, Diver, Jaws of Life team Captain, rapid intervention team member and emergency vehicle operator.
