James Thilking
James D. Thilking’s most passionate pursuit is philanthropy. Accepting the responsibility of turning his success into hope and opportunity for those less privileged, James D. Thilking dedicates much of his time, money, and resources to various local and national charitable foundations, including educational, medical, relief, and conservation causes. James D. Thilking is a President’s Council donor to the Punahou School, which teaches and preserves Hawaiian culture; a Res Publica Society donor to Claremont McKenna College, his alma mater; and a donor to the Westwood Charter School Education and Enrichment Fund. Mr. Thilking frequently contributes to the American Heart Association, Inc., as well as the CLARE Foundation, Inc., providing assistance to Los Angeles, California, citizens seeking recovery from alcohol and substance abuse. Searching for other ways he can provide relief to those in need, Mr. Thilking is an avid supporter of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America and the Los Angeles County Bar Foundation’s Immigration Legal Assistance Project. James D. Thilking contributes to the nonprofit Food on Foot organization, which seeks to provide food and clothing for the homeless and poor of Los Angeles. As a strong believer in environmental protection, James D. Thilking donates to the Ducks Unlimited’s Wetlands for Tomorrow conservation effort. Furthermore, James D. Thilking is a Limestone Cornerstone donor of the Los Angeles Conservancy for preserving and revitalizing the historic architectural heritage of Greater Los Angeles.
