I’m an artist and topiarist based in Worcestershire, working with plants as a living sculptural medium. My practice centres on the quiet discipline of shaping shrubs and hedges by hand.
I work from my home studio garden, experimenting with both geometric and free-form shapes, guided by each plant’s natural growth habit. I’m interested in the therapeutic relationship between people and plants — how attention, rhythm, and flow can shape both form and feeling.
My work is informed by modern sculptural thinking and long traditions of horticultural craftsmanship. I see topiary as a living art form — one that evolves through patience, skill, and a creative harmony between artist and plant.
My work has been featured in House & Garden and Gardens Illustrated, and I continue to explore topiary’s expressive and reflective possibilities through writing, teaching, and practice.
