Life's not how I expected it to be. I thought that by now I'd be mid career with a wife, mortgage and possibly even a kid. To quote from Trainspotting though: "I chose not to choose life, I chose something else". Having an amazing time teaching English in Cambodia for now. Miss my friends, miss London parties, miss cheese, miss rugs. On the plus side its nice to have a break from rugs (u gotta detox for the retox) and I certainly don't miss the shit British weather, the largely bigoted British police or those back-stabbing grasses I once thought friends. Rubish at lying, or rather ok at lying but find it difficult. Also don't like lying in general. That said there's a lot to be said for not always telling the truth - the film "Big Fish" illustrates my point very well. I dunno. "Be nice to children and dumb animals" or something similar my father instructs his children. I try to be nice to everyone and give everyone the benifit of the doubt. A sometimes expensive philosophy! I wish people could just see past their own petty agenda's and live and let live. If I'm not hurting you please don't hurt me.
