James Varga

Founder and CEO of miiCard, I am a serial entrepreneur (otherwise known as a startup junkie) with a passion for technology, startups and online identity. In a career spanning over 20 years, I would like to think I have become respected for my drive, focus, enthusiasm and innovation, coupled with strong creative and technical skills.

I enjoy being a n early adopter and having my finger on the pulse of digital trends. I founded miiCard in 2011 and is now focused on bringing trust to the internet and giving the individual control of their online identity. miiCard is a revolutionary "digital passport" that enables users to prove their identity online for the first time to the same level of authority as a driving license or passport would do offline.

Previously I was Chief Operating Officer at innovative online personal finance service and Managing Director of Beblu, manufacturer of the world's first mini-component computer system designed for the living room. Over the years I have been involved as technical director for a number of startup companies including c2sky which commercialises academically developed solutions and Squarepeg Consulting, providing eBusiness and CRM expertise to small and medium sized companies.
