My name is James Baek and my gamer tag/online name is Jamesspeed1. I am 20 years old and currently in my third year of college.

My current studies involve many such as cooking where I am learning about gastronomy, food science and culinary techniques, law and business along with martial arts and technology.

In my spare time, I also do a lot of gaming and play competitively all the time. The main game that I play in the competitively is the Pokémon Video Game (VGC) where I compete in the official tournament circuit hosted by The Pokémon Company International every year.

For competitive VGC, I started playing competitive in 2014 and ended up qualifying for the Pokémon VGC World Championship in the same year and have qualified every year since.

I can be found frequently on social media. I currently run a YouTube channel with currently 11k subscribers and produce video game content mainly Pokémon VGC to help players learn. I also am a Twitch Partner and stream multiple games including VGC frequently.
