Jami Kliner

I started my insurance career as a licensed sales associate with Allstate in 2003. A few years later, I joined the Division of Consumer Services at the Florida Department of Financial Services, where I advocated for and educated frustrated Florida consumers seeking help with insurance issues, primarily claims-related.

Those experiences taught me that too many consumers perform little or no due diligence before purchasing insurance products. To help bridge the information gap, I started my own Agency, Jami Kliner Insurance Group, to inform, educate, and encourage discussions about products and the insurance process.

After a few years, I decided to return to the Division of Consumer Services. I currently manage a team of analysts who advocate on behalf of Floridians with concerns about their insurance companies, agents, or adjusters. At the same time, I am pursuing a Master of Public Administration, with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027.
