Jamie Campbell, bCRE

As Stewardship Coordinator at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH), I am responsible for the successful operation of a comprehensive stewardship program that supports the growth and conservation of donor relations. This includes the development of consistent database practices, processing and donor acknowledgement, and direct mail, as well as the management of social media, website and online peer to peer fundraising technology.

I work closely with the office of the RVH Foundation CEO, Development and Philanthropy teams to ensure stewardship and donor relations are integrated, consistent, and support the fundraising strategies of our foundation.

Previous to this, I worked as the Special Events Coordinator at RVH. The main focus of my position was the detailed execution of a broad range of fundraising programs under the special events portfolio. I was responsible for all facets of the RVH Foundation's signature events (Crystal Classic Golf Tournament and M*A*S*H Bash) as well as the RVH Foundation's Partner's in Caring program; a third party fundraising platform that included everything from lemonade stands to community golf tournaments and the highly successful Hockey Night in Barrie.

While in this role, I successfully worked to transition the RVH Foundation into the use of online peer to peer fundraising technology, coordinated the inaugural RVH Ride for Health, and raised internal staff, physician, and volunteer engagement in RVH Foundation supported events like the Rotary Fun Run by more than thirty percent.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Laurentian University. After attending post graduate studies in Counselling Psychology at Athabasca University, I completed a post-grad certificate from Seneca College in Fundraising Management. I consider myself to be a bit of a data geek, and competed my bCRE in 2014.

Aside from this, I actively support the Toronto International Air Show's Media and Public Affairs Team and sit on the Dragon Boat Barrie Board of Directors.

My passion for philanthropy is driven by the donor story; I value the opportunity to unite a donor to his or her cause. Ordinary people show extraordinary generosity which is both humbling and inspiring; knowing that this kindness will make a difference in the lives that follow drives me to make available these opportunities to give.
