I'm a native New Mexican, obsessed with writing, reading, and the arts. I earned my BA in Communications and Multimedia Journalism and a minor in Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico. I currently live, work and play in Chicago! By day, I edit, write copy for, and manage two online food properties, and by night, I do my best to indulge in all this lovely city has to offer.

I'm at my happiest when writing, taking pictures, exploring literature and art, watching films, listening to music and drinking far too much coffee. I feel most alive when traveling, watching live music, meeting new and interesting humans and straying from the itinerary.

I'm obsessed with breakfast food, weiner dogs, coincidences, sarcasm, and basically anything Louie CK has ever said. I can't stand when people pronounce crayon, "cran", oxford commas or Pumpkin Spice Lattes.

If there's two things I've learned in life this far, it's that you should always do what makes you happy, and you can't trust anyone who doesn't like dogs.
