Jamie Pearson

I'm an Enterprise Risk Management Specialist at Meridian Credit Union. I am responsible for maintaining Meridian's ERM framework and implementing ERM strategy, including performing and supporting risk assessment throughout the business. Previously I was an Engagement Manger at Oliver Wyman, a global management consulting firm, leading teams of consultants to develop strategic risk management solutions for the world's largest companies.

I attended the University of Waterloo where I received my BMath and MMath degrees. My Masters thesis, "Exact, approximate, and online algorithms for optimization problems arising in DVD assignment", focused on developing the algorithms and theory around the DVD assignment and purchasing problems faced by a Canadian mail-order DVD rental company.

I live in the Niagara region with my wife Robin and daughter Claire. In my free time I am an avid golfer - anyone interested in a round at the St Catharines Golf and Country Club is always welcome!
