I am a Cum Laude graduate of the Notre Dame Law School. While attending Notre Dame Law School, I received the Dean's Award for being an outstanding student in complex criminal litigation. Prior to my final year of law school, I served as a legal intern with the Public Defender's office for the First Judicial Circuit of West Virginia in 1999. In the summer of 1998, I spent the summer abroad, studying law in London, England through courses being taught by British law professors.
