Jamie Broadbent is a senior executive banking leader with deep experience across Commercial Banking, Digital Strategy, Product, Innovation and enterprise Transformation.

His career has spanned Canada, the UK and international financial services markets, with leadership roles across relationship banking, product strategy, client experience, digital distribution, fintech partnerships, open banking, payments transformation and large-scale platform modernization.

Most recently, Jamie has served as Vice President, Digital – Commercial Banking, helping shape digital growth, client experience and platform transformation following National Bank of Canada’s acquisition of Canadian Western Bank. Previously, he has led digital, product, innovation and client experience teams at Canadian Western Bank, RBS International and NatWest Group.

Jamie is known for operating in the space between strategy and execution: setting direction, aligning teams, simplifying complexity and building momentum around work that genuinely drives the business. He has led major digital banking transformation programs, helped modernize commercial client journeys, and contributed to significant growth, efficiency and client experience outcomes across multiple banking markets.

Earlier in his career, Jamie was named UK Young Banker of the Year by The Chartered Banker Institute for innovation in SME finance. He has also contributed to industry advisory forums and regulatory consultations, and is a frequent keynote speaker at banking innovation events across Europe and North America.

Outside of executive banking roles, Jamie is interested in the future of financial services, responsible innovation, fintech, AI, digital ventures and community leadership.
