I've been a reporter since 2001 and added photography in 2010. As a freelance writer, I've covered some hard news, but mostly, I enjoy writing features. Such publications as The Chicago Tribune, the Daily Herald, Chicago Parent and Northwest Quarterly have given me the opportunity to cover a wide variety of events and profile many fascinating people. Recently, I've been hired by the international design site, Houzz where I will photographing home interiors to share with decorating junkies around the world.
