IDA, Institute of Dance Artistry is a school of modern dance, ballet, pointe, jazz, dance tap, and lyrical and hip hop dance. By adhering to the philosophy that dance is an art, not a competitive sport, IDA provides the ideal dance education for all its students. Students with professional aspirations are able to make a smooth transition into the college and professionaldance worlds which also look at dance as an art. Students that dance for a fun hobby are able to do so in a positive, supportive, non-competitive environment. IDA believes in giving back tocommunity through dance and does so throughout the year with performances and fundraisers to raise money for charities. All dance classes are taught by enthusiastic professionals withBachelors and Masters of Fine Arts degrees in dance and current professional performers and choreographers on the Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York dance scenes.
