Jamie Nordmeyer

Hi there! I'm Jamie Nordmeyer, a developer living and working in the Portland, OR metro area. I've been living here since 1997, and love the area! I live with my beautiful wife in Gresham, just outside of Portland, and have two great kids!

My professional areas of expertise lie primarily in the Microsoft web development stack (ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server), and in AngularJS and jQuery on the front end. I've been working to pick up Angular2, and am absolutely looking forward to it shipping.

I'm also a fan of photography, hiking, music, martial arts, and fitness. I hold a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo, and have also trained in Jeet Kun Do, Jiu-jitsu, and Krav Maga. I'm not actively training at the moment, as I've not found a local school that I like, but definitely spend time at the gym, lifting and running.
