I am Jamie Purcell—wife, mother, bonus mom, and a passionate believer in the power of love and community. For nearly 18 years, I’ve been married to my best friend, Dan, and together we’ve built a family filled with laughter, challenges, and unwavering support. I am the proud mom of Hanna and Lucy, both beautifully neurodivergent like their dad and me, and the bonus mom to Jacob and Conner. My angel baby, Joshua, who passed away from SIDS in 2004, remains forever in my heart, shaping the way I love and live each day.

As a neurodivergent woman and an autoimmune warrior, I know firsthand the struggles of navigating a world that often doesn’t understand different minds and bodies. But I also know the strength that comes from embracing who we are, advocating for what we need, and finding joy in the journey. I believe in self-love, self-care, and always seeking the good in even the most difficult moments.

Above all, I believe in the power of connection. I believe that love is love, that every person deserves to give and receive love freely, and that this world needs more kindness, compassion, and understanding.

My passion for travel and community-building led me to create Journey to Empower—a brand dedicated to inspiring people to live their best lives, no matter what. Guided by the words of Buddha, "Each morning we are born again. What we do today is what matters most," Journey to Empower hosts events, retreats, and experiences that remind people to embrace adventure, growth, and the beauty of a fresh start.
