Yes, that ellusive, ever-known, has dropped off the face of the earth woman you used to know is still alive. The Cali-Southern Accent no more girl is back. After graduating from Hampton University waaayyy back when, I went to Virgnia Institute of Marine Science for three years, hated it, left, and moved back to the left coast. I've experienced an eclectic life, both in my career and personal oportunities. From Marine Science to teaching to "dot.com startup" to stock options to Silicon Valley, from "I'm over this" and what am I going to do with my life to determining I love the classroom, going back to school and getting a graduate degree in 18 months, it has been a wild ride.

Such a wild ride that one day, my body started telling me "you cannot do this anymore!" Migraines moved me back down to Southern California. It got better. More pain, I'm getting older.Years go by, and it takes more and longer to get better. Life has slowed down. Now. I'm not having all that fun. Not trying to change the world. Not taking on too much at one time. Not on the forefront of anything, really. Taking everything one day at a time, trying to be artistic, focusing on family and friends.
