Jamie Rempel

Jamie is the former Athletic Therapist with the BC Lions and the Vancouver Women's Whitecaps. He has instructed Sports First Aid and Athletic Taping for the Sports Medicine Council of BC, and is actively involved in developing a Football 101 program for team trainers involved with Football BC. A firm believer in prevention as the first step to staying healthy, Jamie is actively bringing the issue of sports-related concussion to the forefront of community sports teams. Education Jamie graduated in 2001 from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Human Kinetics, majoring in Exercise Science. After graduation, he moved to Toronto to attend the prestigious Sheridan College, where he completed his post-graduate diploma in Sports Injury Management in 2004. Jamie successfully completed the national certification exams for the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association (Canada), the National Athletic Trainers Association (USA), and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (Int'l).
