Jamie Sahagian

Jamie Sahagian is a paralegal based in Riviera Beach, Florida, and his career has moved through several distinct areas of legal and scientific work. He began in laboratory science, working as a research assistant studying the molecular genetics of maize and sorghum at the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science in 2012, then went on to manage a transgenic mouse colony at the Max Planck Florida Institute for Neuroscience.

From there, Sahagian shifted toward law, studying at the City University of New York School of Law, where he served on the CUNY Law Review and held fellowships in public interest advocacy. He carried that legal training into paralegal work, first with Queens Defenders in New York, supporting criminal defense clients through research and trial preparation, then in Palm Beach County, Florida, where he worked with the Office of the Public Defender on Mental Health Court matters.

Most recently, Sahagian worked as a probate and estate planning paralegal for a West Palm Beach law firm, drafting pleadings and preparing deeds and guardianship filings. Outside of work, he spends time on the water around Riviera Beach, boating, fishing, and snorkeling, and staying close to family in the area.
