James C. Samans

A Senior Information Assurance Analyst for information security firm TWM Associates, Jamie has earned Master's degrees in Information Assurance and Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland.

Jamie is an avid traveler and the author of Spontaneous Tourism: The Busy Person's Guide to Travel (2008). Since 2004, he has visited more than 30 countries. Jamie also serves as an officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve and on the boards of the local chapters of ISACA and ISC(2).

Jamie is married to Gwen Wray-Samans, whom he met in college and later surprised with a 48-hour Valentine's Day weekend in Paris. Since 2010, Jamie and Gwen have been joined on their life adventure by daughter Tara. When not traveling, the three of them reside in Alexandria, Virginia.
