World citizen: I was born and raised in the Netherlands, in a family that loves to travel. Since finishing high school I have lived in Costa Rica and Australia and I have travelled to many different countries. These experiences taught me to be culturally sensitive. I thrive in an international environment and consider cross-cultural communication as one of my main strengths.

(Com)passionate: I have a strong interest in the use of communication and media for social change. I am particularly interested in the representation of gender and race in popular culture, among many other social and environmental causes.

Creative: I have a keen eye for visual aesthetics and pay attention to detail. I have a strong interest in creative storytelling and a variety of art forms and design.

Independent Team-player: I have the ability to manage multiple tasks independently, but I also enjoy the dynamics of teamwork. From the moment I started university until my most recent jobs, I have been a part of international and multicultural work/study environments, which have led me to develop the ability to work in teams with people from diverse backgrounds. With my open, communicative, enthusiastic, and energetic personality I am always ready to inspire and be inspired by others.

Public Speaker: I have the proven ability to present to large audiences. I presented the annual progress of Enactus Rotterdam to an audience of 500 people at the National Competition in the Netherlands. I also have experience in teaching students and pitching projects.
