Hello, I’m Jamillah...

I am a novice social media blogger with a passion to inspire others within the realm of self evolution and spiritual growth. It is in my core values and beliefs that all of us are capable of becoming better versions of ourselves.

As a former award winning social justice advocate, I have a knack for speaking truth - even about topics most find uncomfortable. When writing about these truths, I am one to encourage self research - as authenticity in how one discovers the truth is just as important as the truth itself. We all have different paths that we walk upon and discovering the truth for yourself (with little assist from me) is both liberating as it is exhilarating!

When I'm not writing, I'm reading. I have been known to read anything from self help, to spirituality, to parenting, to mental/emotional health, to cookbooks, to entrepreneurship to travel and many more topics in between.

Friends say I'm very diverse and cultured when it comes to understanding the world around us - but I'll let you be the judge of that.

Living in Colorado has afforded me the opportunity to become an avid lover of the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, camping and visiting awe-inspiring hot springs. I also enjoy yoga, meditation, traveling (road trip anyone?), family, animals, and cooking. My new, favorite thing in the world right now is kickboxing and it's slowly becoming a staple for me.

Being a mother has been one of the most challenging but absolutely rewarding ventures of my life! Where else can you be a parent, a teacher, a nurse, a chauffeur, a counselor, a chef, , a dance partner, a coach, a jungle gym, a disciplinarian, a spiritual advisor, an entertainer, an ATM and a petri dish?! HA! Nowhere. My children are my source of inspiration - because of them I rise. Because of them, I'm motivated. Because of them, I learn valuable lessons about parenting, them and myself. And I wouldn't trade it for the world. Challenges and all.

As you can see I have much to draw inspiration from and if you are looking for someone who will give you honest feedback, someone who holds integrity near to her heart, if you wish to produce quality results from hiring someone to proofread for you or to do data entry or writing content - then look no further...I'm the one!
