About Me

I’m Abubakar Jamiu, Experienced and accomplished Project and Operations Manager with a strong background in Customer Success, Public Health Digitization, and Financial Services. With proven expertise across the healthcare, technology, and banking sectors, living in Abuja, Nigeria. I bring a unique blend of relationship management, strategic stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership to every role I undertake.

Currently, I serve as State Operations Lead – Account Manager at Elephant Healthcare, where I oversee large-scale public health digitization initiatives across Niger, Abuja, and Kaduna States. I lead a multidisciplinary team of Field Account Executives, Customer Success Coordinators, and Digital Champions, ensuring effective EHR adoption, stakeholder buy-in, and sustainable healthcare system improvements. My leadership also extends to procurement, logistics, financial oversight, and compliance, driving efficiency and accountability in donor-funded health programmes on Immunization, Malaria, Maternal & Child Health, and Family Planningleveraging on Digital tools.

Previously, as Senior Customer Success Manager, I spearheaded Elephant Healthcare’s expansion into new territories, training over 5,000+ healthcare workers In person / remotely and deploying systems across more than 450 PHCs in Nigeria, while also supporting facilities in Kenya, Ghana, and Pakistan. My strong track record in onboarding, retention, and cross-functional collaboration has positioned me as a trusted partner to key stakeholders, including government officials and international organizations such as USAID, WHO, BMGF, and CHAI.

Before transitioning into healthcare technology, I built a solid foundation in banking and financial services, working with Union Bank of Nigeria and First City Monument Bank as an Account Relationship Manager and Service & Sales Associate. I honed my skills in customer engagement, market research, and SME banking solutions, consistently delivering growth opportunities and strengthening client loyalty.

I am passionate about leveraging technology and innovative strategies to transform healthcare delivery, strengthen systems, and improve customer experiences. A natural leader, I am dedicated to team growth, operational excellence, and strategic impact, making me a driving force in every project I lead.
