Jamshed Siddiqui

I am presently working as Country Director–India & Chief Representative–South Asia of The University of Newcastle, Australia. I am primarily responsible for developing and implementing a business strategy to position The University of Newcastle strongly as a partner of choice for a designated group of Universities, research centers, and commercial education providers in India. My other responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities for the University in the areas of teaching and research including new partnerships, access to research funding, collaborative research, staff and student exchange, study tours, twinning programs, joint degrees, articulation agreements and pathway programs; and liaising with relevant Indian and Australian authorities to assist in the development of University projects in India.
