Jan Jones

I have 15 years of experience teaching Pre-K through 7th grade music in the Columbus Public Schools.

After graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Theory and Composition, and a Music Education Teaching Certification, I taught general music, directed performing groups, taught strings & band, directed choirs, and wrote custom arrangements for each of those ensembles.

In addition to an excellent musical pedigree, I have the kindness, empathy, and patience to be a beloved and effective music teacher; whether in a classroom setting, or for in-home private lessons.
