The photo was taken last summer in Split, Croatia, on a week long sailing trip. I returned to Croatia a few months later for a week long sailing regatta.

I'm not a sailor, but loved the experiences, especially of being out on the beautiful open waters of the Adriatic Sea. Next time, I'd like to spend the week on a catamaran. I enjoy traveling, adventure, and experiencing what the world has to offer away from home.

Home is in Kingwood, TX, where I grew up; all my siblings and mother live close enough that we visit almost daily. I love getting involved in projects around the house, and usually end up involving one of them. 😄

I have a nine year old son at home, and love taking time every day to learn with him. Together we work on his lessons in piano, fiddle, math, Italian, etc.

I am widowed.
