Jana Campanelli

Jana Campanelli has been teaching Health and Physical Education for almost a decade at Melrose Park, Illinois' School District 89. She also coaches athletics and advises young teachers, passing along lessons she's learned throughout her career.
Jana strives to provide a secure and pleasurable learning environment for her students every day, but she adds something extra to help prepare them for real life. Jana's students use CICO (check-in check-out) methods to learn self-awareness as well as classroom management strategies.
Jana graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media and Public Relations. She followed up her bachelor's degree with a certificate in Elementary and Secondary Education from Northeastern Illinois University in k-12 education. Anyone who has had the privilege of working with Jana knows she puts her heart and soul into all she does, especially her academic and athletic advisory roles, as well as mentoring new staff members.
