Hi all! I am a senior in the Silver Creek Leadership Academy at Silver Creek High School. I am currently working on a senior capstone project, GEMS (girls in engineering, math, and science). On March 18th, I am hosted an event where we invited 5th-8th grade girls to come and participate in a day of math, engineering, science, and technological activities. We invited local businesses and groups to come and run the activities of the day! These include the Air Force Academy Cadets, the Civil Air Patrol, Zometool, the Boy Scouts, and many more! The ultimate goal of GEMS is to garner interest from girls in these male dominated fields of study, and to connect local businesses to the younger generation.

Next year, I will be attending the Colorado School of Mines to study chemical engineering. This year, I finished my capstone project, and participated in tennis this spring.
