My name meaning “God Answered” is not something I take lightly. I feel wherever I am at a specific moment in time is exactly where I was meant to be. As an artist, I always try to convey that whether through my own music or even someone else’s. Performing is my passion and I continuously pursue new avenues of artistic expression in the performing arts world. My goal with my singing is to allow the listener to be taken to their “higher place”- the place where they can close their eyes and drift away with the music; the place where their body tingles, chills go up and down their spine and goose-bumps rise.

As I continue on my musical journey, I pray that I am able to be an inspiration to some young person. I pray that I can be a great role model to my two younger sisters. I pray that I make my family proud. But I ultimately pray that I touch at least one person’s life. It will be then and only then that my purpose will be fulfilled.
