I am Director of the Agnes Etherington Art Centre and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Art and in Cultural Studies at Queen's University. My most recent curatorial project, Inside Kingston Penitientiary by photographer Geoffrey James, begins its national tour in 2015. I serve on the Arts Advisory Committee of the City of Kingston, its Visual Art Working Group, along with the Advocacy Committee of the Kingston Arts Council, the Board of the Ontario Association of Art Galleries, The Canada Council for the Arts Standing Peer Advisory Committee on International Exhibitions, and the Advisory Committee of the School of Image Arts at Ryerson University, Toronto. My critical writing has been published in Prefix Photo, C Magazine, Artext, and Poliester.
My poetry has been published in journals and anthologies, and in my cyber-punk inspired collection Personal Peripherals.
