Jane Bailey Bain

Jane Bailey Bain is an author, speaker and life coach. Born to British parents, she grew up in Geneva. She studied Psychology at Oxford University and Anthropology at the London School of Economics. Jane trained as a business consultant with IBM and holds a PGCE and Certificate in Counselling Skills. For several years, Jane worked on development projects in Africa and Asia. During this time she became interested in stories and how we use them in everyday life. Jane runs workshops and courses on Writing, Story Structure and Presentation Skills in London, UK. Her work has been described as a cross between Joseph Campbell and Julia Cameron. 'StoryWorks' is a handbook for leaders, writers and speakers. It looks ar how we use stories to communicate. 'LifeWorks' is a practical handbook which combines insights from psychology and anthropology. It introduces the twelve major archetypal figures, with examples from books and films. Stories and exercises help you identify relationship patterns and life themes. These tools are used by writers for character development and plot analysis.
