In April 2013, Jane completed the reknown and internationally recognized Karen Pryor Academy; focusing on positive training, using the science based approach of clicker training. All training is force-free; punishment, choke, prong or shock collars are never used. The positive approach of clicker training, emphasizes and develops communication with your dog; and your dog will quickly learn the behaviors and have fun in the process! A stronger and deeper bond with your dog will be developed, and your dog will learn the good manners a life-time!

After concluding a 20-year career in Special Education, Jane graduated from the Animal Behavior College, a nationally recognized program focused on canine obedience training, behavior, and the understanding of motivation. Her past experience in education and as a social worker, have placed her in a unique position to better understand the dog's behaviors and motives, to create and implement effective and easy to follow training plans, and to help you and your family to train your dog with love, communication, and consistency!

Using rewards based training, Jane will teach you to reinforce the desired behaviors with your dog, instead of "correcting" inappropriate behaviors; a methodology which makes sense to your dog, and your dog will willingly engage in appropriate behaviors to earn treats, praise, and fun times with you and the family!
