Jane Ngema

I am Jane Zuziwe Ngema, a third year South African female student at the University of Johannesburg (UJ), a university that is situated at Auckland park. UJ is a university that is in Gauteng province and it four campuses in different locations within the city of johannesburg. I decided to be a teacher in my third grade when I met a female artist who told me to never stop drawing because there are a few recognised black female visual artists in South Art. I then decided to be an artist and a teacher to make sure that i produce as many artists as i can. In this technological world art is slowly fading and being replaced by computers and easy ready made paintings and drawings; that made me come up with another idea to create techno-smart artists. i realise that i cannot change the whole world alone but as a teacher i have the opportunity to change the people who live in it, one person at a time.
