Washington D.C.

I am a proponent of life-long learning and view my recent move to Washington D.C. as an opportunity to start a new career that will build on my skills as well as help me develop new ones. My choice to study English points to my having varied interests and my successful navigation through jobs in education and healthcare information technology indicates that my desire and ability to acquire more knowledge have served me and my previous employers well. I am excited to start a new career with a fresh set of challenges.

My abilities to stay organized and pay attention to detail have helped me perform well in fast-paced, high-stress environments. As a project manager implementing operating room software, I coordinated my responsibilities for several internal projects while managing my client’s project by creating and maintaining a week-by-week project plan.

Being a results-driven person, I find it very important to track and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data. As a teacher, I closely monitored about 100 students’ performances while designing daily lessons for three different courses.

I enjoy working individually or with teams and I am always welcoming and appreciative of opportunities to gain knowledge, whether I am teaching myself or learning from others.
