Jane Campbell
Student in Amherst, NH
Hello! I am currently a student at Plymouth State University in Plymouth New Hampshire. I am an Interdisciplinary Studies major, in the program Marketing Sustainable Design. I recently transferred here from Arizona State University! I am creating my own major through the IDS program here because I am interested in all three fields (marketing, sustainability, and product/web design) that I am incorporating into my major.
Outside of school, I have lots of hobbies! I love to travel, as well as volunteer in new places when I am able. One of my favorite travel/volunteer opportunities I have been able to experience was a mission trip to Mt. Olivet Jamaica where I got to teach at and refurbish a primary school!
I also love the arts. I love to draw and paint and listen to music and pretty much anything to do with artistic expression. I'm definitely a little too busy in school these days to really explore these artistic passions, but in the summers and during vacations I spend most of my time being creative in some way.
I also have a passion for the outdoors. New Hampshire is one of the most beautiful places in the country, and you can usually find me outside somewhere exploring local mountains and waterfalls (when the weather allows it)!
After graduating from Plymouth state with a degree in Marketing Sustainable Design, I plan to travel the country in a van that I am working on converting into a solar powered mobile home! Some of the destinations on my list to visit are Mt. Hood WA, San Francisco CA, and Sedons AZ.
I am eventually looking to go to business school and acquire an MBA in marketing. My ultimate career goal is to work in the product design and marketing departments of large scale cosmetic companies and help to incorporate a knowledge base of business, design, and sustainability in order to make the world of makeup more environmentally conscious.
