Janece Matsko was born and raised in the shadow of the beautiful Rockie Mountains in Colorado Springs, CO. After graduating high school in 2007 she followed her passion for art and graphic design to Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. While the highly respected graphic design department at the school was more than she could have asked for, the flatlands of Kansas were no place for a Colorado girl. She moved home to find a new direction and aquired a new affinity for oil painting, marketing and business in the process. Janece moved to Denver to attend the Art Institute of Colorado. The Design Management program was the perfect blend of art and business that she was searching for. During her senior year at AiC Janece discovered her second passion in food and nutrition. Janece believes that the power of Social Marketing can change the way the world views nutrition, health and their personal relationships with food.
