Jane Hodson

I spent my school days on the Isle of Man but left to live in Hong Kong, Malaysia and latterly South Africa. My long held desire to return to the Island was fulfilled in 2002. I’ve spent the time getting re-acquainted and recently qualified as a Blue Badge Guide.

I thoroughly enjoy sharing what I know about the Island I love. I’m happy working with small or large groups and always take pride in providing a friendly service. I’m happy to concentrate on the topics that particularly interest the tour group and I’m able to provide a friendly and bespoke service for groups large or small. I have good organizing and planning capabilities which I put to good use in my tours.

Do I have a special interest?. Yes; - the monasteries and the development of farming and granges, the development of Douglas into a tourist destination during the Victorian times as well as a general interest in the cultural history Isle of Man.
