I'm a senior marketing professional with 10+ years of experience in the start-up world. For the past year I've split my time between world travel and early stage business strategy development. I'm interested in environmental activism, social psychology and innovation leadership.
Throughout my career I've set myself to task at solving big problems using creative strategies and diligence. I was introduced to the social tech world when I joined the nascent Yelp team in beta stage, cutting my teeth through innovative social strategies and viral marketing campaigns. From there I went on to become one of the first sales executives, developed our account management team from 0-15 members and opened our first offices in NYC in 2008. Under my leadership, the Northeast Community grew from three to thirteen community managers, we held over 500 local events, published thousands of newsletter campaigns and a major highlight was in ringing the bell in 2012 when Yelp's stock surged 64% the day of our initial public offering on the NYSE. It was a wild ride, and I was anxious to take my learnings from my experience writing, marketing, recruiting, public speaking and advising to the west coast.
Today, I'm based in Venice, CA helping launch companies and products that make a difference in our world. I handle everything from Go To Market Strategy to recruiting and managing teams and product development. I've planned and executed community events, developed newsletter campaigns and digital marketing initiatives. I love making a vision become a reality.
