Jane Lee

Shenzhen, China

Hi everyone!

Let me introduce myself briefly. My name is Jane, and I'm a junior this year. Just like a lot of you guys probably are, I am a Third Culture Kid. I was born in Korea, lived there for 13 years, moved to Taiwan and lived there for three years, and I now live in China. This multi-cultured feature of myself helps me understand and relate to MUN better as a global citizen.

My MUN career began in 7th grade when my friend bribed me with fries to accompany her to the MUN informational meeting. Being a big foodie I was, I went with her to the meeting and signed up for Human Rights committee for TAIMUN conference.

Looking back, the start of my MUN journey seems quite ironic, but I am really thankful for my friend for introducing me to MUN - something that I truly enjoy doing.

Following up my first MUN experience in 7th grade, I've attended 12 face to face conferences and about 40 online debates.

As for the online conferences, I started off with jrO-MUN in 8th grade and have participated in more than 20 debates online. This year, I will be serving as your DSG of O-MUN. :)

I am really excited for this school year to work with you! I also want to congratulate you in grasping this opportunity that is available. I believe that O-MUN is a wonderful platform to build MUN skills both as a delegate and as a leader, and I really hope you guys continue to be part of this program!

See you all later ONLINE~ :)
