I write. I write papers, love notes, journal entries, and recipes. I talk. I talk about race politics, intersectionalities of identity, popular culture references, and kitten videos on youtube. I am a life-long learner, an advocate for delicious pies, a lover of floral dresses, and a fighter for my beliefs. I attend the University of Washington as a Senior Honors student, McNair Scholar / Presidential Scholar, and Peer Educator. Currently, I am working on my thesis on the Black middleclass, authenticty in hip-hop, and representations of "blackness" in art.
