Janelle Morales

Hello! My name is Janelle Del C. Morales Algarin. I come from Puerto Rico and I am currently studying Microbiology at the University of Puerto Rico in Humacao. However, my passions in life are not in the science field, but instead, they are in the arts. I intend to become a voice-over actress specializing in animation and video games.My goal is to entertain others by bringing their favorite characters to life. Due to my skills as a fast learner, I can replicate many voices within a short amount of time or create one to fit the character. Currently, my voice range focuses on feminine voices, such as a little girl, a soft-spoken teenager, or an old lady with a raspy voice. However, I am starting to work on more masculine voices to expand my skills in voice-over performances. What I find to be the impressive aspect about this proffesion is the freedom to express many feelings simoultaneously and the challenge to become a different person using only the voice, which takes training, patience and a lot of practice.

My hobbies range from acting to writing, which become useful tools for what I aim to be my future proffesion. I also enjoy reading, inspiring my creative mind through music and learning new languages. To me, languages can open the doors to different cultures and is proven to exercise the human brain to the point of lowering the stress levels. As a fun fact, I currently know four languages: Spanish and English which I speak fluently, along with Japanesse and Portuguese, which I am still in the process of expanding my vocabulary. I intend to keep learning as many languages as possible, from Russian to Mandarin, to learn the history of the world and read books in their original language. I also aim for the opportunity to communicate with others without any barriers as this is something that rarely happens, but it can become a wonderful one-of-a-kind experience that can never be forgotten. From entertaining to communicating, learning a new language is acquiring a skill and knowledge that will be always useful, especially for voice acting.
