Janelle Zebedee

My name is Janelle and I currently teach in a school district support position as a Health Promoting Schools Teacher Consultant in the Interior of British Columbia. I share the role with my teaching partner and feel grateful to have a colleague to regularly collaborate with on a daily basis. Our position is also partially funded by our local health authority. Through the lens of comprehensive school health, we support school communities (including students, staff, and parents) to enhance healthy school environments, promote health and well-being, and implement the Physical and Health Education curriculum.

I am a Mom of two school aged kiddos, and we enjoy spending time outdoors, especially skiing and camping. I also enjoy daily physical activity, an afternoon cup of a tea, and a cookie to help maintain balance in my workday. :-)

I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Education Physical Education program at UVic (Go Vikes!), and also hold a Masters of Arts in Health Promotion.
