Janine Erasmus

I write for and edit the website of Corruption Watch, a South African NGO that works to raise awareness of corruption, especially in the government, and to enable people to report it. I have a scientific background, having qualified as a microbiologist, and discovered my journalistic niche somewhat later in life. I live and work in Johannesburg and enjoy writing about travel, culture, corruption and of course, science.
